In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Sailor Boy by Pauline Palmer for USD 750.00 (€ 476.25). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,800.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pauline Palmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sketch Club, Provincetown in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 43,988.27).
