A top price for Paulin-Jean-Baptiste Guérin - as previously expected
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work Self-Portrait, Head And Shoulders by Paulin-Jean-Baptiste Guérin. The price achieved of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 153,689.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Self-Portrait, Head And Shoulders is the most expensive artwork by Paulin-Jean-Baptiste Guérin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait, Head And Shoulders von Paulin-Jean-Baptiste Guérin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 134.500,00 (€ 153.689,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
