Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Un Plaza - Circa 1970 by Paul Staiger was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in April last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 197.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Staiger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charles Sitting ('66 Rambler) in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,364.35).

Die Arbeit The Un Plaza - Circa 1970 von Paul Staiger kam im April letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 197,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Staiger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charles Sitting ('66 Rambler) im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.364,35).
