Auction result well in line with expectations
In January last year Sothebys in New York held the auction The European Art Sale Part I, which included the work Frances with the Apple by Paul Peel. The price achieved of USD 35,280.00 (€ 31,466.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Paul Peel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Portrait Of A Girl was auctioned for CAD 48,000.00 (€ 36,819.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The European Art Sale Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Frances with the Apple von Paul Peel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 31.466,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Peel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit Portrait Of A Girl für CAD 48.000,00 (€ 36.819,14) versteigert.
