Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale, which included the work Cornfield, Avebury by Paul Nash. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,944.92), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bridge, Romney Marsh in October last year with an auction result of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 411,008.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cornfield, Avebury von Paul Nash zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 13.944,92) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Nash erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bridge, Romney Marsh im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 411.008,09).
