Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work Bustling activity in a Northern French town by Paul Marny. It changed hands for a price of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,144.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Other works by Paul Marny have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2001 the work Mozes near Fontainebleau was auctioned for GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,727.81).

Im September 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bustling activity in a Northern French town von Paul Marny zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.144,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Marny konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2001 die Arbeit Mozes near Fontainebleau für GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.727,81) versteigert.
