Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Les Lavandières by Paul Madeline for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,896.42). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Madeline - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Baie D'Agay, 1912, which sold at auction in March 2010 for EUR 21,605.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les Lavandières von Paul Madeline für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.896,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Madeline mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Baie D'Agay, 1912 beobachtet, die im März 2010 für EUR 21.605,00 versteigert wurde.
