In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work La Fille De L'Artiste Dans La Jardin À Taillebourg changed hands for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,678.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Madeline have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Baie D'Agay, 1912 in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 21,605.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Madeline konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit La Fille De L'Artiste Dans La Jardin À Taillebourg für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.678,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Madeline auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Baie D'Agay, 1912 im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.605,00.
