Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 748.46). Admittedly, works by Paul Karslake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A lobster, onion, caviar, garlic and lemon with a bottle of Petrus in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,606.10).
