A top price for Paul Jean Revel - as previously expected
In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition by Paul Jean Revel. The price achieved of EUR 991.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Composition is the most expensive artwork by Paul Jean Revel that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Paul Jean Revel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 991,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Composition das teuerste Kunstwerk von Paul Jean Revel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
