This artwork by Paul Jacoulet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in March last year. In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Four large vertical prints sold for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,873.43) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Jacoulet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Showa Era (1926-1989), Circa 1934 in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 31,325.00 (€ 27,899.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Jacoulet erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art wurde die Arbeit Four large vertical prints für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.873,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Jacoulet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Showa Era (1926-1989), Circa 1934 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.325,00 (€ 27.899,00).
