Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Coastal scene from L'orient, France by Paul Emmanuel Péraire was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,200.00 (€ 160.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Emmanuel Péraire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Etang A Mortefontaine in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 14,870.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Coastal scene from L'orient, France von Paul Emmanuel Péraire im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.200,00 (€ 160,79) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Emmanuel Péraire erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Etang A Mortefontaine im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.870,00.
