Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work La Plage Aux Parasols by Paul Collomb. It changed hands for a price of EUR 744.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Collomb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Lecture, Circa 1960 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,470.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Plage Aux Parasols von Paul Collomb zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 744,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Collomb auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Lecture, Circa 1960 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.470,00.
