Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Posters, which included the work PEUGEOT 1935 by Paul Colin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,402.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Colin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Tumulte Noir in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,946.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit PEUGEOT 1935 von Paul Colin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.402,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Colin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Tumulte Noir im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 133.946,39).
