Admittedly, works by Paul Colin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Tumulte Noir in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,946.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit “LA BANANE” von Paul Colin kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.743,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Colin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Tumulte Noir im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 133.946,39).
