Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stonehenge (Portfolio) by Paul Caponigro was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of USD 5,760.00 (€ 5,450.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Caponigro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work West Hartford, Connecticut, which sold at auction in June 2010 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,187.05).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 5.450,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Caponigro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit West Hartford, Connecticut beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.187,05) versteigert wurde.
