Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Standing White Deer, Ireland by Paul Caponigro. The price achieved of USD 1,664.00 (€ 1,454.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Caponigro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work West Hartford, Connecticut in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,187.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standing White Deer, Ireland von Paul Caponigro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.664,00 (€ 1.454,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Caponigro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit West Hartford, Connecticut im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.187,05).
