Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Omneya Cairo by Paul Blanca was sold in the Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art and auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2001. The price achieved of EUR 528.75 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 450.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Blanca - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nora Kimball crying, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 1,762.50.
