Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Mädchenbildnis. 1917. by Paul Basilius Barth was auctioned at Koller in June 2017. The auction ended at the price of CHF 500.00 (€ 457.10), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of CHF 400.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Basilius Barth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Weg Im Sonnenlicht, 1945 in June 2001 with an auction result of CHF 9,987.50 (€ 6,558.94).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Mädchenbildnis. 1917. von Paul Basilius Barth kam im Juni 2017 bei Koller zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 500,00 (€ 457,10) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 400,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Basilius Barth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Weg Im Sonnenlicht, 1945 im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 9.987,50 (€ 6.558,94).
