Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Frau im Fauteuil. Um 1926. by Paul Basilius Barth was auctioned at Koller in June 2015. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 3,375.00 (€ 3,237.33). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Basilius Barth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Weg Im Sonnenlicht, 1945, which sold at auction in June 2001 for CHF 9,987.50 (€ 6,558.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Frau im Fauteuil. Um 1926. von Paul Basilius Barth kam im Juni 2015 bei Koller zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 3.375,00 (€ 3.237,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Basilius Barth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Weg Im Sonnenlicht, 1945 beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für CHF 9.987,50 (€ 6.558,94) versteigert wurde.
