Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2013 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, British and Impressionist Art, which included the work Sunlit Garden by Patrick William Adam. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,647.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick William Adam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dinner Table, Ardilea in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,417.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, British and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunlit Garden von Patrick William Adam zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.647,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick William Adam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dinner Table, Ardilea im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 105.417,28).
