Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St. Zaccaria, Venice by Patrick William Adam was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,642.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick William Adam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dinner Table, Ardilea in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,417.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit St. Zaccaria, Venice von Patrick William Adam kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.642,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick William Adam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dinner Table, Ardilea im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 105.417,28).
