Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Artist'S Studio by Patrick Swift was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,459.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Swift have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Olive Tree in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 73,095.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Artist'S Studio von Patrick Swift kam im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.459,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Swift auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Olive Tree im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 73.095,75).
