Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Painting For Silk Screen by Patrick Scott. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,946.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Scott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goldpainting in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 79,621.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Irish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Painting For Silk Screen von Patrick Scott zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.946,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Scott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goldpainting im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 79.621,04).
