Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Irish Art, which included the work Gold Painting 486 by Patrick Scott. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,008.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Scott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goldpainting in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 79,621.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gold Painting 486 von Patrick Scott zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.008,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Scott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goldpainting im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 79.621,04).
