Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Golden Nebula by Patrick Scott was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2016. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,501.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Scott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goldpainting in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 79,621.04).

Die Arbeit Golden Nebula von Patrick Scott kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.501,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Scott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goldpainting im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 79.621,04).
