Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Famille Barberini Boncompagni Ludovisi, Rome, 1985 by Patrick Faigenbaum. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,934.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Faigenbaum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Famille Caracciolo di Melissano, Naples, 1991 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Famille Barberini Boncompagni Ludovisi, Rome, 1985 von Patrick Faigenbaum zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 1.934,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Faigenbaum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Famille Caracciolo di Melissano, Naples, 1991 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.875,00.
