In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work Elective Affinity Waterfall sold for USD 2,295,000.00 (€ 1,966,580.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800,000.00. This high result makes Elective Affinity Waterfall the most expensive artwork by Pat Steir that we have observed at auctions so far.
