Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pasquale de Rossi could be acquired at Il Ponte in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Furniture and Old Master Paintings, Silver, Clocks, Musical Instruments, Historia, Carpets and Textiles, Old Master Drawings and Prints auction, the work The preaching of Saint Paul changed hands for EUR 5,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,500.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pasquale de Rossi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Scuola Di Ricamo; Il Concerto, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 19,200.00.
