Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Children conversing in a landscape by Pasquale de Rossi was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,440.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pasquale de Rossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Scuola Di Ricamo; Il Concerto in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Children conversing in a landscape von Pasquale de Rossi im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.440,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pasquale de Rossi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Scuola Di Ricamo; Il Concerto im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.200,00.
