Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gesthemane by Pasquale Giardino was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in August 2005. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 956.00 (€ 582.59). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pasquale Giardino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2002 for AUD 3,055.00 (€ 1,722.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gesthemane von Pasquale Giardino wurde im August 2005 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 956,00 (€ 582,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pasquale Giardino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2002 für AUD 3.055,00 (€ 1.722,82) versteigert wurde.
