A top price for Pasquale Giardino - as previously expected
In November 2002 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included this untitled work by Pasquale Giardino. The price achieved of AUD 3,055.00 (€ 1,722.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Pasquale Giardino that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2002 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pasquale Giardino zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 3.055,00 (€ 1.722,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pasquale Giardino, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
