Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work The Wall And The Script I by Parviz Tanavoli. The »bidding war« ended at USD 93,750.00 (€ 82,309.04), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parviz Tanavoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wall (Oh, Persepolis) in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,841,000.00 (€ 1,824,897.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Wall And The Script I von Parviz Tanavoli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 82.309,04) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parviz Tanavoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Wall (Oh, Persepolis) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.841.000,00 (€ 1.824.897,23).
