Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of a Lady with an orange by Parvaneh Etemadi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,095.00), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Parvaneh Etemadi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 120,280.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady with an orange von Parvaneh Etemadi wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.095,00) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Parvaneh Etemadi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 120.280,95).
