The work Two seated women, 1964 by Park Sookeun was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2010. It achieved a price of USD 506,500.00 (€ 374,464.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Park Sookeun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tree and three figures, 1962 in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,986,500.00 (€ 1,545,192.91).

Die Arbeit Two seated women, 1964 von Park Sookeun kam im März 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 506.500,00 (€ 374.464,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Park Sookeun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tree and three figures, 1962 im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.986.500,00 (€ 1.545.192,91).
