Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two seated figures by Park Sookeun was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2006. It achieved a price of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,418.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Park Sookeun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tree and three figures, 1962 in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,986,500.00 (€ 1,545,192.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two seated figures von Park Sookeun kam im September 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.800,00 (€ 1.418,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Park Sookeun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tree and three figures, 1962 im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.986.500,00 (€ 1.545.192,91).
