In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Riva Degli Schiavoni With Santa Maria Maggiore Beyond, Venice sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,924.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Anichkov Bridge On Nevsky Prospekt At Dusk in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 160,692.13).
