Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio con mucche al pascolo by Paolo Sala was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Anichkov Bridge On Nevsky Prospekt At Dusk in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 160,692.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio con mucche al pascolo von Paolo Sala im November 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Anichkov Bridge On Nevsky Prospekt At Dusk im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 160.692,13).
