Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Plum Blossoms by Peng Yulin was worth HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,073.06) to a buyer in November 2013. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peng Yulin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Plum Blossoms sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,674.45).

Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Peng Yulin war einem Käufer im November 2013 HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.073,06) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peng Yulin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.674,45).
