This artwork by Pancho Gutiérrez Cossío achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. In the Past/Forward - Part II auction, the work Nature morte aux figues sold for EUR 13,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pancho Gutiérrez Cossío have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bodegón con botella y brevas in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 84,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pancho Gutiérrez Cossío erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Past/Forward - Part II wurde die Arbeit Nature morte aux figues für EUR 13.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pancho Gutiérrez Cossío auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bodegón con botella y brevas im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.000,00.
