Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Panayiotis Tetsis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work École britannique d'archéologie d'Athènes sold for EUR 6,656.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Panayiotis Tetsis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Thalatta in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 144,500.00 (€ 184,217.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Panayiotis Tetsis erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit École britannique d'archéologie d'Athènes für EUR 6.656,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Panayiotis Tetsis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Thalatta im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 144.500,00 (€ 184.217,08).
