The work Coucher de soleil à Sifnos by Panayiotis Tetsis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 44,800.00 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Panayiotis Tetsis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Thalatta in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 144,500.00 (€ 184,217.08).

Die Arbeit Coucher de soleil à Sifnos von Panayiotis Tetsis wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 44.800,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Panayiotis Tetsis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Thalatta im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 144.500,00 (€ 184.217,08).
