Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La table orange by Panayiotis Tetsis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 60,855.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Panayiotis Tetsis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Thalatta, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 144,500.00 (€ 184,217.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La table orange von Panayiotis Tetsis kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 60.855,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Panayiotis Tetsis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Thalatta beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 144.500,00 (€ 184.217,08) versteigert wurde.
