Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossoms by Peng Yulin was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,510.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Peng Yulin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plum Blossoms in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,674.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Peng Yulin wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.510,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Yulin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.674,45).
