Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pure Sound by Pan Wenxun was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,928.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pan Wenxun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Manjusri in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 402,500.00 (€ 37,435.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pure Sound von Pan Wenxun kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.928,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pan Wenxun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Manjusri im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 402.500,00 (€ 37.435,11).
