Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Pan Tianshou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 240,000.00 (€ 29,947.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Tianshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo Valley in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,040,000.00 (€ 2,085,090.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Pan Tianshou wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 240.000,00 (€ 29.947,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Tianshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo Valley im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.040.000,00 (€ 2.085.090,26).
