Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horizontes by Pablo Palazuelo was sold in the Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel auction at Christies in Madrid in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 103,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Palazuelo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Virtus Marin, Vi, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 301,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horizontes von Pablo Palazuelo wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel bei Christies in Madrid versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 103.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Palazuelo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Virtus Marin, Vi beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 301.000,00 versteigert wurde.
