Upper estimate price exceeded by 44 %.
In March 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale, which included the work Épingle de cravate by Pablo Gargallo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,032.00 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Gargallo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Masque D'Arlequin Souriant Iii, 1927 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 490,896.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Épingle de cravate von Pablo Gargallo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.032,00 und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Gargallo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Masque D'Arlequin Souriant Iii, 1927 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 490.896,00.
