Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An old man holding a stein; also two companion paintings by Otto Kirchner was sold in the THE HOUSE SALE auction at Christies in New York in September 2005. The price achieved of USD 1,320.00 (€ 1,094.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Otto Kirchner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A good vintage; and Reading the news in January 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 7,747.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An old man holding a stein; also two companion paintings von Otto Kirchner wurde im September 2005 in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.320,00 (€ 1.094,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
