Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Georgian sukhumi by Otar Chkhartishvili was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,752.65). Other works by Otar Chkhartishvili have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,753.47) in June 2016 for the work Georgian informer.
